Merrimack Youth Association (MYA) Basketball is an all volunteer, non-profit organization in Merrimack, New Hampshire.  It typically involves over 500 kids in 7 different grade groups:

• Kindergarten Program
• 1st & 2nd grade - Instructional
• 3rd & 4th grade - PeeWee
• 5th & 6th grade - Junior
• 7th & 8th grade - Intermediate
• 9th - 12th grade - Senior

• **NEW 2023/24 Season** All-Stars / Tournament Teams - Each division with the exception of Instructional and Kindergarten, will have 1 or 2 All-Star teams.  Players will be selected by the tournament team coach or board members via a tryout in early December.  Only 10-12 players will be selected to participate on a All-Star team. These teams will hold weekly practices on Sundays and enter to play in a season ending or mid season tournament.  Extra fees and adult volunteerism will apply.

New Rec teams are formed each year, typically with 9 to 10 players per team.  Player evaluations are conducted in October.  The season runs from early November to mid February.  Teams have one week night practice and one weekend game, with the exception of instructional/Kindergarten that only has a practice/game on Saturdays.  The Kindergarten program will be 7 weeks of station/group instruction led by volunteer parents.  For a list of start dates please view our 2023/23 MYA Basketball Timeline.
